First Day of School

First day of school!!!!!!

Bear with our school sign! She was pretty much TOO excited to smile she said.

 This week we are learning "All about ME". Their journal entry is how we started our school day off! They got to tell me their hobbies, what they want to be when grow up, age, favorite color, and their goal for the school year! Also, I LOVE seeing how they think they look. May have been the best part of the journal entry! 

Baby love decided to do math on the floor! This is just one of my favorite things of homeschooling. School is able to be done anywhere and goes anywhere!

 Back to the table for our Literature. I've said it before but, we are using Total Language Plus. Our first book study is The Whipping Boy by Sid Fleischman. 

Bear is doing ABC Mouse for some of her lessons! Learning and playing...Can't go wrong with that! 

 The spelling words for this section I assumed would be "hard". Needless to say, he knew almost 80% of them! Score for Mr. Smarty Pants! 

Our family also does Bible. We have chosen to do this together in the evening so Daddy could be apart of these lessons! Our kiddos LOVE to pray. We are doing a week on prayer. There will be more posts about this coming!

Needless to say, our FIRST day of school was a HIT! Went very smooth!!
